What is the Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro Technique is a time-management method that alternates focused work sessions with short breaks to maintain concentration and prevent burnout.
How do I start, pause, or reset the timer?
Press Start to begin, Pause/Resume to control a running session, Skip to move to the next phase, and Reset to return to idle.
Can I change focus and break durations?
Yes. Open Settings to adjust the focus length, short/long break lengths, and how often long breaks occur.
Does the next phase start automatically?
You can choose. Toggle “Auto start next phase” in Settings to enable or disable auto-start when a session ends.
Does PomoFlow work offline?
Yes. PomoFlow is a PWA. After the first load, it can work offline and can be installed to your home screen.
Will my screen stay awake while the timer runs?
If your browser supports the Screen Wake Lock API, enabling “Keep screen awake while running” in Settings prevents sleep during active sessions.
Where is my data stored?
Your session history and settings are stored locally in your browser. No account or server storage is required.
Is PomoFlow free to use?
Yes, PomoFlow is free. We may show ads to help support ongoing development.
